I was curious about this. I read this also , but why is it that when programming my truck with the Hi Performance tuning, it asks if I'll be towing more than 4000lbs?

I have a 25' fifth wheel camper, my fx4 does quite well pulling it last week we took it to the up in mich from northern mn and there where a couple of 4 and 6% grades the camper weighs about 7200 and there where five adults in the truck it held 60-65 mph and would excellerate if needed on the grades 3500 - 4000 rpms thats where they need to run on the grade for max torgue. its always a good to run with od off in these cases, bad for the trans to let it shift in and out of od. the truck is going to act different pulling a heavy trailer, the driver needs the remember that and adjust the way you drive.
