what to do on a new truck?

So I know that I'm gonna get a new F-150 but I can't make up my mind to do it know or wait until spring. Does everyone think the rebates will be as good in the spring or not? second question is should I get a screw or super cab. I really don't need a screw but was thinking that down the road resale would be a lot higher. all replies would be great!

Get it now. Sooner or later the big 3 will balance out their production numbers with inventory levels and the rebates will go back to something reasonable. $9,000 to $10,000 off sticker is crazy... but great for us.

I got the SCab because we have a mini van to lug the teenagers around. They fit in the back but it's not great for longer trips. The other problem is the new F150 rides better than the mini van and is a lot more fun to drive.

I should've got a SCrew...

My recomendation... If you have kids, get the SCrew

For the love of pete buy NOW. Incentives are out of control, interest rates are still at ludicrous lows (assuming you have great credit) and the 05s are gonna be missing some goodies.

Go to bed now, wake up and meet your salesman for morning coffee, pickup your truck and take pictures before sunset. Do it, NOW!

Answer to second question: get em both, oh wait, wrong forum !!

Seriously if you can swing it don't wait, I don't regret for a second buying mine in March even though the incentives are even better now...

The time to buy is when the new model year vehicles are coming in....that time is NOW..plus like others have said, if you get an 04 you'll get more goodies for a heck of a lot less money, they'v made cutbacks on the 05 features..with alll the f150s Ford made this year there are still alot of 04s left...jump on one, who knows what could happen with interest rates these days....

I got the 04 Screw and luv it so far. Like someone said earlier, if you have kids and do not really need the larger box for hauling, get the Screw. It is huge and comfy!

Buy now, 05's will not be getting the great incentives and by spring the selection of 04 will be low. Find an 04 on the lot you like and pull the trigger soon!
