50 Series Flow

I decided to go with a 50 Series SI/DO for the FX4....I found it for $130 in Jegs catalog, has anyone found it cheaper? Would the muffler shop have it cheaper? I want a good flowmaster sound without so much of the drone, thats exactly how Flowmaster markets it......

I had a local muffler shop put a 50 series with dual outs on my 04. With the muffler and all the pipe work, it was $340. I'm sure if you just want to replace the muffler it'd be substantially cheaper. Call around to the local performance muffler shops, they'll usually give you a qoute over the phone.

I dont know about the 50 series but I talked to my local muffler shop and they quoted me for a 40 series with duals out for $200 with chrome tips or $160 without, so I ordered some stainless tips instead and am going to have them put them on when I have the muffler and duals out the back put on, I think $160 is reasonable for that great flowmaster sound.

just my .02
