make a 4x2 a 4x4

Can you make a 4x2 a 4x4 by replacing the front end of the truck? I was curious if that was even possible

I would think you could but given the cost it would be better just to trade your 4x2 in for a 4x4.

The cost of all the electronics and parts would be far more than trading it in for a 4x4.

3rd vote for selling a 4x2 and purchasing a 4x4. Cheaper, easier, and no mechanical problems.

The questions isn't can it be done (it can) but WHY would you want to do it?

I was just curious...a few guys at work was talking about it and I didnt know how it can be done. :-)
