F/U throttle position sensor DTC
FYI, I posted that I thought the 1714 had something to do with my engine light coming on. Superchips has nothing to do with it.
First trip to dealer: they did a pcm reflash and supposedly adjusted the throttle. Worked for 2 days and then the light went back on and went to forced limited power, the wrench light.
Called dealer and read the newest dtc from my Superchips tuner which was p2135-throttle position sensor. Tech there said "oh yea, Ford has a memo out to replace the throttle position sensor"
Duh. Shoulda done it the first time. Gotta go back on Monday, again.
Soooo, if you have any engine lights that have a dtc having to do with the throttle, tell your dealer about the memo.
