Well I dont have a screw but this fuel door problem seems to be a problem alot on the 04's I took mine to my dealer and they said its a common problem with a spring that gets sprung or over extended they allready have a fix for it with a different designed spring my reg cab goes in tomorrow to get this fix, the funny thing is they dont keep the spring in stock so they have to order it, seems to me if its common they would have them in stock, but thats all there is to it, its not actually the fuel door itself so thats good! hope this helps

Actually it isn't the spring that is the problem, but the nylon shaft, it has notches that strips out, allowing it to slip.

I don't have the Screw, but a Scab. My fuel door failed and was replaced entirely by the dealer. I didn't get to see the failed one, but apparently the unit was not available as individual parts at the time.
