Cluster swap

Is it possible to put a XLT cluster into a STX? There is one on ebay I would love to buy and have put in, but I want to make sure it will work. Any feedback here is appreciated!

Beaver Tricks,

You should be able to switch your cluster...but I'd talk to a service manager at a Ford dealer before you buy one of eBay.
The replacement cluster needs to be configured (odometer, etc.), and I'm not sure if that needs to be done at the factory or if the dealer can do that. If the dealer can do it, you'll want to make sure that they are willing to do it with one bought from eBay. Find out if a cluster purchased from eBay would be warranted by the factory.

This is a good thread about switching out the cluster:

Let us know what you find out.
