Question Transmission Clunks???

i have an 04 stx scab with a custom air intake and catback flowmaster exhaust the problem i notice every once in a while it happens at random speeds but if i floor it between 30 and 60 the tranny makes a hard clunk. and then the truck accels. just wondering as well does anyone know what my air intake and exhaust will do to my warranty??? any answers will be appreciated. ford f-150 best truck i ever owned!!!

For what you're talking about, you'll have no warranty issues.

However, if your exhaust rusts while it's in the closet in your garage and you take it back to them in your bed in 2 years, you may have issues.

The problem has to be a direct result of one of your mods.

The problem is not in your mods. I have no mods and mine does it too. Ford says it knows of the problem and it is "normal". Go figure.

WELL if ford says its ok than its got to be fine! as long as i dont see my tranny in my rear view i will agree with ford and it is normal
