Question Ordering tires online?

I have been waiting for weeks now for the 285 BFGoodrich AT's to be available in my local area. I am tired of hearing they are on backorder. I found a few places online that have them along with the Wrangler MT/R's and the TOYO Open County AT's (still not quite sure which ones I want), anyway....If I order online, how do they ship the tires to me? Is the UPS guy gonna roll four tires out the back of his truck or I someone gonna drop a pallet with four tires attached in my driveway? Just want to know what to expect.

He's most likely gonna roll 4 tires off the back of his truck right onto your front lawn. Make sure someone is home, or have them delivered to your job if possible.

Used to order tires for my Mustang from the Tire Rack all the time. UPS just rolls up and scoots them out the back door for you. Take them to your local tire shop and get them mounted and balanced and you're done. Great way to buy tires.

AH HA!
Finally a small thread that I'm quite an "expert" with.. lolol

I ordered some "Z" rated tires from Tirerack.com a couple of years ago. They not only had all the info you would ever need to know about tires, sizes, types, pro and cons, brands, etc., but they have an on-line survey from thousands of tire owners.

They drop-shipped them to an authorized tirerack dealer, you can choose which one, and the tire dealer balanced and mounted the tires...
all for the cheapest price anywhere!

I was VERY happy with the procedure, VERY easy!

Just go to tirerack.com, you'll be impressed!

I have ordered in the past as well, and they came truck frieght and I had to sign for them. Not a problem really, giuy comes in with a truck, you sign a paper and he leaves you a pallett (spelling) with all 4 tires wrapped up. Around here mount and balance of each truck tire is around 20 bucks.
