**** CepekŪ Radial F-CŪ II for my '04

I was out pricing tires and haggling with shops about the Daystar install. I just happened to come across a 4X4 parts center here that I never knew existed. You should have seen some of the trucks and jeeps at this place...most of them in the employee's parking lot.

Anyway, I was talking to the manager about the BFG's, and mentioned that I wanted something a little different than what everyone else had. He recommended these tires to me.

Pretty sharp, huh? They can be mounted with the white letters out or in. I prefer them in. At $184/tire, I think I am going to get them. I am just a little hesitant at running a

They also quoted me $200 to install my Daystar spacers and give the truck an alignment.

I've read a couple of reviews that said the DC's were very good tires.

Hmmm... nice tire! DC is known for having solid, quality products. Too bad they don't make anything to fit a larger wheel...

$184 a tire sounds reasonable. Is that with some sort of hazzard protection, mounting & balancing?

33X12.50R17

They make the radial, and now have a Kevlar out too...it's ~ $100 more per tire.

wandell-

I've read some nice reviews as well. Thanks for the input.

Damn,

That does sound like a good deal. I was hoping you were getting something in an 18".

Oh well, good things come to those who wait.

Tuff, are those 35" tires?
I think we talked about this before but I still am pretty proud of the deal so I will bring it up again. Its been mentioned before, but Hummer stock tire size is 315x70x17 BFG All Terrain KO tires. Now since it is very popular for people to take the stock hummer wheels off and put "dubs" on the dealerships want to get rid of the All Terrains. I got mine, brand new from the Hummer dealership in Rochester for $90 a tire. Look into it before buying 35s.
