$45 for Drip Gaurds/Vent Visors

In your opinion, is $45 for Vent Visors/Drip Guards worth it? Includes installation, quote from dealer.

A set of 4 for an XLT. It doesn't sound as high as I thought it would.

I gave $25 for my 2 at the local O'reilys and put them on myself, they just have double sided tape on them took like 2 minutes per side, I'd think about it before I let a stealer do them!

I agree.....in most auto parts stores that I've seen, a set of 4 will run for $45-50.

also, they now get covered by warraqnty for when the adhesive fails and they fall off in a year (if that was to happen, not saying it will)

I think I gave $45 for mine and put them in myself. I wanted them mounted as low as possible...my '99 had some that some jacka$$ installed too high. You could crack the window in my '99 and the rain would still get in.

Either way I think you'll be fine. The choice is yours. It's not rocket science.

Yea, and some some extra tape while your at it. I've had them on several trucks with no trouble, but on the '04 with the unique body lines, my double sided tape has ceased to work after 3 month's. I have had to redo the tape a couple of times and yes, I followed the manufactuer's directions to a "T"!
