New stereo system

I have ordered everything and now I'm impatiently waiting for the goodies to arrive.

My system will consist of the following:

Panasonic 7" LCD/DVD head unit (already installed and purchased long before I owned this truck)
JL Audio 300/4 Amplifier ($365 shipped)
JL Audio VR525CSi component set (front doors) ($166.90 shipped)
JL Audio TR570CXi coaxial (rear doors) ($111.50 shipped)
JL Audio 10W3 4-ohm 10" Sub ($158.90 shipped)
Proboxrocks.com single 10" sub box ($140.58 local)

I am having the amp installed by a professional, so that will eb the only labor charge. ($100 includes amp wiring kit and speaker wires) The amp will power the VR525CSi's and the Sub. The HU will power the rear TR570's.

Total $1042.88

What do ya'll think? I will post pics as soon as everything is installed. Probably by next weekend if everything goes as planned.

Next are the headrests

Thumbs up

Sounds great. I've got Basically the same set up as you but i've got the Clarion 7in DVD player and Kicker Solo Baric L7 8in subs, kicker component set up front, kicker coaxials in the rear, and a kickerSX400.2 pushin the subs. I had a custum box built. They took the bottom half of my back seat off. Made a box and then got OEM vinyl to cover it and made the box so the top of it looks like a seat. They even matched up the sowing lines with the top half of the seat. Thank the lord I knew the guys and they hooked me up.
I think this post should be in the Stereo forum.

A speaker box and seat combo. Pretty cool idea, but how does it look. Do you have any pics?

I posted here and in the audio section of this forum. Seems like any and all posts on the 2004 F150's are going here. That's just like saying that all the suspension/leveling comments should be posted in the suspension section of this forum. I figured since I own an 04 then I'd post in the 04 forum. If the moderators want to move it, then so be it.

The seat/box combo looks really good. People think its the actual seat until i point out where the subs are and pick up the middle section where the amp is located. The only bad thing is the padding in the back seat isnt very thick, so a long trip would suck for a back seat passenger.
