Okay question for someone I just got my 2004 F150 and on the badge on the fenders it has the black on it, which I want it to be all chrome is there a way to get the black off??? Maybe with some acetone? Has any one done before?

acetone will do the trick. another post was made about it with pics included recently.....

I was polishing my truck with a polisher and accidently ran it over the chrome plate and the black paint came off.

So you can polish and remove your paint at the same time.
