Know how you feel. I ordered mine back in May and it finally came in a week ago. I love it so far. Only thing I have added so far is nerf bars.

Great looking truck...just get rid of that front license plate holder. (Unless your state requires a front plate, of course!)

Thumbs up

NICE TRUCK DOC!

Upper left (drivers side) of fire wall. I ran my wires with the loom that comes out of there. Hope you don't install Ford's remote start security system made by Audiovox like I did. After spending two days trying to get a hold of someone to supply me with diagrams and programing intructions that don't come with the unit, I asked were it was to be mounted. The tech said to wire tie it under the dash to something on the drivers side. OK, whatever. He also said I didn't have to solder the wires. I think I know why Ford Accessories clam's it only takes two hours to install this thing now. He also thought he was speaking to a dealer mechanic. Now it appears that the interface is bad according to the tech. In order for them to warrenty the part, the dealer would have to check it out and the dealer admitted that they didn't know crap about how to install it. The service dude wanted me to supply them with the diagrams. I took my chance and ordered anouther interface for $30. I hope to install it tomorrow. If I could, I would have returned the whole thing to begin with and bought an after market system that's just as good with instructions for half the price.

i dunno why i say "lol" a lot! i do laugh a lot lol, but i dunno, anyway anyone got the answer to how to get the bottom clips for the lisence plate bracket off? at least its not like my cav where i had to drill out rivits lol, also anyone know of a good style to attach led strip lights to the front grill , im gonna be installing two of them, one at the top of the grill an one at the bottom of the grill (the hood grill) they will be white and blue led strobes (im a firefighter) and also going to be installing my strobes into the headlights fog lights and tail lights, wondering whats the best route to wire cables into the tail lights, and where do you guys think would be a good place to put the power box,...its about 6x5"s and about 3"s tall....and i need to be able to run cables to it including power/ground an then a bunch of big cables, and where should i put my switches, im thinkin where the ash tray is (That lil panel that pops out) cause i dont smoke, an no one else will smoke in my car, so i think it would look good cause it would be out of the way an discreet, but i need to be able to reach it so i can control the siren and stuff while driving...yea, thats another thing lol, where should i mount the speaker for the siren, for the cav it was easy just found a hole in the metal bumper support an put it their, i dont want to drill or do anything with this truck, im so scared of it , the cav i could take off every body panel an have it back together in a few hours

If it's crome, you can put your speaker on the roof.... lol. OK, not funny. I installed a speaker siron for my alarm in the engine compartment drivers side just in front of the master cylinder on top of wheel well. It just fits behind air intake duct. My truck has a bracket with an unused nut welded to it (looking striaght down). If I recall correctly, it's metric. I used it to bolt my siren down. Under the dash drivers side left of steering wheel. There is a metal tab. You can see it if you get on your knees and look under there. On my truck it's unused. You could use it maybe to mount a box with your switches and then your wires could go out the fire wall just above it. If you do run the wires out were the loom is, yet me know and I will help. License frame has clips on bottom like top. I went under the truck to work them out.

Question

Hows the cop end up with a red truck and you a white one? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Funny how a person can think the same thing here...

I was wondering that question too...The police cars here are white and the fire engines are red ....
