Autospring 2" installed, but now i need 1" in the rear!
Has anyone installed a 1" block in the rear of their truck? I have the Autospring 2" installed up front, which brought the truck level. The Autospring actually gave it 2 3/4"s.

I would like the rear just a tad bit higher. Purely for asthetic reasons. Just talked to the guys at 4 Wheel Parts, and they said there's no simple block kit for the rear, only the big 6" blocks that are in the lift kits. I find this hard to believe. Please advise.

pretty sure procomp sells 2" rear blocks for the 04 F150, skyjacker has add a leafs for rear. I put 2" autospring on my 4x2 SCREW Lariat and measured over 3" actual lift. I had the upper control arms hitting the springs during full extension and swapped to the 1.5" Autospring, which gives 2.25" lift.
daystar 2 1/2 was exactly 2 and quarter so if you swaped there be that little differance.
ristuccia, i assume you put the daystar 2 1/2 on your truck? I am planning on doing mine at XMas, so I am starting to look now. Also, how much of a difference did the Airraid make? Gas, Power? Thanks.

freddytran,
4WP is BS'ing you. When I had the 2.5" autospring on my truck, I went up there and bought 2" blocks for my truck. If all else fails, just call Pro Comp and have them shipped to your house. I have a 2WD as well, and I have 2" blocks on mine.
Good luck getting what you need.

Yes I have had a 1" block added to the rear after 2" autosping.
The local frame shop that installed the font lift made or had a welding shop make a 1" block for the rear. I will try to post pictures after tires are installed next week. The measurements, in the front, from ground to fender is 40-1/4" rear 40-3/4".
I think it turned out perfect.

gear_slammer - Do you have the stock # for the 2" blocks you got from 4WheelParts? They keep telling me they don't have blocks for 04 F150's because the way the block usually sits is different. Normally it's a center pin block. 04 F150's have a different setup where we cannot use center pin blocks (what they said - 2 different guys).
DeVoTee - any chance that place could make another block similar to your's? I'm looking for a 1" to 1.5" block. Where are you located?
Still on hold with ProComp to see if they have a 1" or 1.5" block. I'll letcha know.

Just got off the phone with ProComp. They say they only have AAL's ... no blocks. ProComp and 4WheelParts told me to go to a machine shop to get one fabricated! LOL. Anyone else have any luck?
I was told Ford went to a double pin rather than the the center pin of the past. Bear Frame & Alignment in Kearney, NE is who lifted my rear 1" I think you would probably do better locally?
If for some reason I had to replace my truck; I would do it exactly the same way. I will post pictures as soon as wheels come.

DeVoTee,
Any chance you could ask them how much they would charge for fabricating a pair of 1" blocks like yours and ship them to me here in Dallas, TX 75207? As it stands, I cannot find anyone who makes them. I'm calling around locaaly to see if anyone will do it as well. Thanx
