So, uh, Why is it called a headache rack ?

 

This relates to larger rigs hauling loads of things like metal stock, logs etc. If you are in a sudden stop for whatever reasons and the load comes through the back window...

I always wondered why they call it a "Headache rack". Now I can tell my wife I LEARN important stuff when I read these forums.

 

I just recieved my BackRack and installed it today. I am pleased with the look and the sturdiness. It took a long time to come in but at least it's here for hunting season when I may need to pile up dead animals in my truck. I'll post pics as soon as I can.
