abs failure

Beware if your abs sensor warning light goes on and off for no reason. My truck started doing this earlier this week and before I could call the dealer to make an appointment the brakes went into antilock mode for no reason. I left work this morning and went right thru a red light. The abs light came on and the truck went into fail safe mode. I drove straight to the dealer.

Marshal Ford here in Ofallon Mo. took the truck right in and sent me home in a loaner.

By 3:00 pm they called and had it done. They said one of the rear abs sensors shorted and was giving the brakes a faulse signal that the truck was loosing traction. They also reflashed the pcm with the latest program.

I cant say enough about the great service I get at Marshal ford and would recomend them to anyone.
