I have a question

I just got a 2004 screw fx4. Build date 06/04. I brought it back to dealer because of a squeak from rear shock area, and when driving I notice my tailgate vibrating. Turns out I have 1 bad shock and they also ordered the dapner for my truck. I do not have the so called NIBBLE just a vibrating tailgate. Also how can I check if I have the engine lagg, so when I bring it back for the shock I can get a computer re-flash? Also a/c not very cold but tesyed good on a cold day..lol

I should have said the shock was is bad because it squeks and I was wondering if the tailgate vibrating was from the so called nibble????

I thought it was a good idea to replace both shocks if you have to replace one ?? I know you have to replace springs in a set...

with regard the the engine lag, if you feel there is a delay when you step on the gas then you might want to ask them about a PCM reflash. A PCM reflash isn't going to make this beast accelerate like a Cobra but some people were seeing from a half a second to almost a full second before their engine responded to stepping on the gas. Just tell them that your AC isn't cold enough, they can check it at least since it is a new truck and under warranty. If you had to see the tailgate moving to notice a "nibble" or "vibration" you probably don't have the major problems that some do as the "nibble" is usually highly noticable in the steering wheel and the "vibration" typically seems to be felt all over the truck. Good luck.
