Just wondering if any of you guys are using the KB blower kit on the new 04 F150 5.4 3V. hes getting some great numbers 430-450 and 550+ft-lbs trq at the crank. Im considering 04 f150 Screw over my Lightning but i dont know if i wanna go lifted 4wd or lowered 2wd. Im liking these trucks waaaaaaaaaaay to much...and the wife doesnt like it....oh well

i wasn't aware that the KB system was out yet? where did you get that info from? i am thinking of doing the whipple here shortly.... and DEFINATELY lift the 4x4 with a blower... would be awesome. otherwise just wait for the new L if you want a dropped 2wd

 

Yeah the KB kit is out...theres a write up on a 04 with one in new Truckin Magazine. I thought about the next Lightning but it will be close to 45k like the SRT probably and if i go with a slammed 2wd truck with a blower. I will do a SuperCrew for the extra room for the fun of it. The Whipple works great..but you dont get the blower whine..some dont like it...i love it.

What page are you on in the Truckin'. If it's the latest issue, the only supercharged 04 I saw had a whipple. Per the magazine they claimed mid 400's hp and high 500's tq.

I believe it was Street Trucks Magazine. Yes, it was a Kenne Bell, they were running 6psi on an FX4. They pulled out 445HP and 526lbs ft of torque. This is without an intercooler and only on 6psi.

I think you can run up to 9psi on these models and Kenne Bell is also going to release an intercooler. I think with 9psi and an intercooler it sits at over 500hp.
