Pulling a gooseneck

Today I saw a 04 S-crew 4X4 hooked to a 18 to 20 aluminum stock trailer, looked good but I would have assumed the bed was a little short for a gooseneck trailer. In addition the truck had a toolbox, so the remaining bed was, well not much. Anyone with experience in this type of setup. How would the truck handle this type of trailer?

Thanks, Brian

I would be interested in it as well. Especially since they are not even rated for 5th wheels...

A gooseneck and a fifth wheel are two different types of hitches.

The only problem with the short bed might be clearance with the cab.

The right way to do things is buy the trailer first, then get a truck designed to pull it.

both looked new, the trailer was a Wilson, anyone familiar with these know they are a very good looking trailer, maybe I can get a picture sometime
