I've been behind or near several new F-150's on the road...and I've looked at mine in the mirror...never have I seen anything unusual. No bad shaking. Unless you're driving down the road and you're bouncing in the seat because the bed is shaking, I say don't worry about it. Sounds like a non-issue to me. The bed HAS TO shake SOME as you go over bumps or just on the normal road surface, a little. I don't see how this is a problem. Certainly not something to not buy a truck over. I've had cars (and have a couple now) that shake, rattle and roll more than my truck does. My truck has no shakes, nibbles, rattles, squeaks or anything else like that. It does however have a fuel gauge that keeps going down to E way too fast

I’ve followed several 2004 F150’s on the highway and have never seen the bed shake some refer to. If you’re driving on a rough road, it’s normal for something to shake especially off road driving.
I am concerned about my fuel gauge though, it seems to have a problem moving to the left very quickly; must be politically deficient.

When i ordered my truck, I made sure i ordered it with option 508ns, (non-bed shake option), only problem was, by choosing that, i couldn't afford the rear back-up sensors i wanted.

I also opted for 508ns and got the rear back-up sensors too! Just a few hundred bucks more, well worth it.

The bed on my S-crew shakes like a paint mixer over washboards and potholes. My old Chevys (99 and 01) never moved that much over the same roads. Oh well, that's what I get for getting the moonroof instead of the 508ns.

But hey, at least I was smart enough to order the 34-81AV Anti-vibration option for $154 extra.
