04 Lariat Screw Price Drop?

How much will the price drop on the 04 Lariat Screw 4x2 when the new 05's come out?

im gonna wait another month or so, so i can get a better price on the 04 Lariat, still a bit pricey for me, that + X-Plan should do it for me... anyone know how much it will drop by?

I have never seen any auto manf. drop the price. That would be admitting the price was to high to begin with.

You may be asking about a rebait.Just have to wait and see how the lariat sells.

albundee, I always buy my cars in November, I would buy an 04 F-150 in October or November, expect 3000 Ford rebate and try to get 2000 to 3000 below the dealer invoice cost. 04 Lariat MSRP at 38,500, you should expect to pay 30,000 - 31,000

there's always price drops on all cars when the new year's models come out. you arent going to pay $35,000+ for a 2001 Ford Lariat are you?

Huh? Automakers do not DROP prices when the next model year comes out. MSRP pricing is the same, but incentives will change. Just go buy one right now...

The whole 'time of year to buy' stuff is crap. Walk into the dealer with excellent knowledge of the vehicle you want, be fair when telling them how much you want it for (they still need to make money) and be prepared to walk to the next dealer if they say no. That's how you buy cars.

I bought my 38,800 Lariat Screw in May for 31k. You don't have to wait 'till november or whatever to get good deals.

According to many websites containing auto news, analyst expect incentives to go up for Q3 and for a price drop on the '04. Mainly because June was a weak month for sales and Ford is not slowing down on production, thus causing to much inventory.

I'm looking to buy in Sept, but this vibration issue has me a little worried. Here in Austin, TX many dealers are advertising $8500 off MSRP on all SCrews and all XLT and Lariat SCabs. I would like to buy this year, but may just wait until next year cause of the vibration issue!

Or test drive the truck before you take delivery! Good lord! I had to try my hardest to FIND a truck with the 'vibe' just to see what people are talking about. It's not a common problem that plagues 50% of the trucks out for pete's sake!

$8500 of MSRP is insane, go buy it. Your not going to get a lot more incentive that that. Sales dropped for one month in the summer - big deal. Ford execs aren't going to offer $10,000 rebates over June sales. These trucks are selling like hotcakes.

very much agree with this - I have drive 7 F150's (including mine) and either I STILL don't know what the vibration feels like. Either that or my *** is even more numb than than my 13 year old looks when he's playing X-Box

We'll dezervit, it would be nice if you could test drive one and be a 100% sure it didn't have a vibration problem. Some people have said there was no vibration problem and a few moths later, vibration! I will probably buy one. $30,000 is a lot of money, just doing my homework!

$8500 off MSRP is for July, June was $7500. That's a $1000 dollars from one month! I'm just reporting what I read, that more incentives are probably on the way because sales have slowed and Ford isn't slowing down production.

Went and looked at them again on Sunday, awesome truck! I just need to test drive one soon!
