I have the Flowmaster Super 40 system and it's great. I don't notice any drone. I do like to have a good exhaust note and that is what the Flowmaster provides. I've heard the Borla's and Magnaflows, they just didn't make it in my mind.

Good & Loud all the time: Flowmaster.
Nice idle, great exhaust note, and civil on the highway: Borla.

I have the Flowmaster super40. At startup, loud then smooths out real nice. Loud on heavy accelleration but at highway cruising, hardly noticable.

Flowmaster gets a bad rap about being loud all the time with annoying cab drone, but the new Super40 muffler is much more civil.
