need a quick answer of how the dash comes off 2 access sterio

 

first you pop out the storage tray on the top of dash..
then you pop out the front panel that the stereo is sitting in.
you'll then be looking at the screws holding everything in.
take your time though popping off the front panel because there's the wiring for the other switches and lights ( like the airbag info light and stuff that you don't want to unplug forcefully)

awesome, thanks for the quick repley. im trying 2 install the aftermarket back up and front parking sensors.

one more quick question, if you know. the front senors i want on when the car comes off but i cant turn it off with a switch.
but do you think finding a access. wire from the sterio that is hooked up to the ignition or you know of a better way of wire you would recomend?

Sorry, i don't know that answer. I only know how too get the dash apart ' cuz i was there when the tech swapped out my stereo at the dealer when the clock on my original one crapped out...

If im not mistaken, the yellow wire in your stereo wiring is the battery+ and the red is the ACC, connect to those and whatever device is connected will be turned off then the truck is off.

 

Where did you get the aftermarket parking sensor kit? From Ford or?
