Heritage Radio removal
I know this question has been asked before, so I did a search and found a bunch of good threads, but none of them helped me out. I have an 04' STX Heritage, the new STX radio is a lil bit different then the Heritage.
I know of the removal tool for the face plate/radio with 4 holes, but mine only has 2:

I removed the whole face that goes around everything (plastic brushed metal plate surrounding the AC, airbag switch, and AC vents), and thought there was some screws on the side to the radio, but...nope.
Any suggestions?

dunno about your specific truck...nor if it has changed....but on my ranger the radio came out as a unit...faceplate and all...used an old metal coat hanger...the "unit" was held in place with little sping loaded clips...the coat hanger was just the right diameter to release the clips ...when inserted into the holes...and pull the unit out...
good luck...if you know NEone that works in your local service department...sure they would be glad to help you out if the coat hanger trick doesn't work...
