Best oil for 2004 5.4l

What is the best brand and weight of motor oil to use in the 2004 5.4l?

Hmmm! I wonder how Motorcraft, Penzoil, Castrol, Mobile, and all of the other lubricant vendors would answer that question. Let me count the ways. Perhaps an oracle with a conduit to the divine should be consulted.

Here's a good oil question. I put Mobile 1 fully synthetic in my truck at 5000 miles, can I go back to Motorcraft 5W 20? Somewhere I heard that if you use fully synthetic there is no going back to regular oil, anyone ever heard of this?
