Question between scab's and screw's

Do the rear seats have the same degree rake? The only difference being the leg room?

I have the Scab, and if memory serves me correctly, the seats in the Screw are bigger. More of a fullsize seat than just the 'jumpseat' of the Scab.

Somebody (this goes without saying) correct me if I am wrong.

I noticed that the supercrews seem to have shorter front windows. Do you guys have a visibility problem? The door jam looks about six inches forward compared to the supercab.

SCAB has bigger front doors and I think better visibility. SCREW seems to have more blind spots. I think there is only 6" difference in room, but a foot longer bed...

Either one would be a great choice.

ive noticed the smaller door too. i found the SCrew kind of uncomfortable since i like to keep my arm on the window. my wrist would hit that little dip on the SCrew and i would have no place to rest my hand. the SCab i had plenty of room for my arm

I agree with TXCoUnTrYbOy, when I had my Scab in for the Linex they gave me a Lariat Screw talking about how it was the top of the line in luxury. I have to say I thought something was wrong with the truck when I got it. I am 6'3" at 220 and to me this wasnt the same truck at all. Anyways you do seem to give up some room in the front with the Screw, it may just be because the window is smaller. Anyways, from what I could tell with both trucks, same back seats.

I have the seat all the way back because I am 6'-4". The armrest isn't in issue for me, but sometimes the pillar gets in the way. Since I have the seat all the way back, I actually look out the rear door window to check my blindspot. I haven't seen a scab next to my screw but, I did comment to my self that the front doors/windows looked small for that size truck. Who knows. I love this truck either way.

BTW,
What is the "rake"? How far back the seat will go?

Zoltan...rake (referring to the rear seat) is the angle of recline to the upright seat cushion. In previous models, the seat back was almost vertical...in the '04s, I believe the recline is at 16 degrees, permitted by the 6" longer cab.

Does the Screw have a fold down armrest in the center back? I thought I saw that somewhere. Beyond that I think the seats are identical.

The front doors are common between the regular cab and the SCAB while the SCREW has unique front doors.

IzInBloOm, there is no fold-down armrest in the rear seat.

Zoltan, Izinbloom, my Lariat SCREW DOES have a fold down armrest in the backseat, and I think the slightly shorter doors on the SCREW are much better for entry and exit in tight parking spaces. I also like the shorter wheelbase on the SCREW, better for tight parking and maneuverability. The SCAB is great for a more useful bed for those that move cargo more often than people.
