Put your thinking caps on!
So I love the truck, I really love the engine, and in no way to I think that the truck is underpowered. That being said, other than forced induction - what can you do to pump up the ponies?! Is it feasible to squeeze and extra 50, 75, or even 100HP out of the engine normally aspriated?! If so, how do you go about the task? Headers, cams, chips, pulleys, etc...
I think this may be premature, since the engine is new and the aftermarket game hasn't caught up yet. However I'd really like to know what anyone has done/has planned and what gains can be expected.

For computer programming, now you can send off your computer in your truck off to super chips who will reflash the computer for more power on 91-93 octane gas for about 20 to as much as 50 HP as i have heard. Later on a programmer will be available for you to just plug and play on your truck. Oh yeah, if you send off your computer, it will cost you around 300-400 bucks and 3-4 days without the use of your truck. Call up or go to mike troyer's website as he is a vendor for www.f150online.com. Or head over to the computer chips forum.
I am thinking with the programmer tuned right (when it comes out), a decent high flow intake and exhaust, you could probably get a safe 50hp out of the truck. I would think the next level up would be new headers, and aftermarket ignition system (for some pep in yo step). Other than that I think you step to a blower such as whipple and leave it at that. I think I will be running a programmer, intake and exhaust and call it a day at around 350hp - probably more like 320 at the wheels. That will also make up for the lift.
On a side note: I may finally get some pics of the truck up - I bought my gf a digital camera for her birthday, now I can use it for truck pics, lol.

Keep in mind
If you send the computer off to be flashed, any time you take it in for warranty work - the dealership could re-flash it back to stock. Also, if they want to really be a ***** they could void your warranty all together. I would wait for the programmers - they will replace the stock programming with their own, but when you take it in for work - re-load the stock programming and no-one will ever know.
For horsepower gains
- I am working on putting a cold air intake, with an exhaust system (probably a super 40 flowmaster). The max gains seen out of these mods will be realized when a programmer is available.

You could also add under drive pulleys and electric fans to the mix. These will help to reduce the parasitic loss that you have from the stock equipement. Not much of a HP gain but it will help.
I saw this http://www.troyerperformance.com/cgi...no=Stage104354 and thought that would be neat, execpt I'm definitely waiting for a programmer and not sending off my PCM. So $1100 gets you intake, Magnaflow exhaust & a PCM Flash. For maximum gains you need premium fuel. Phooey. I want 50+ HP gains on regular/midgrade..... If I toss a blower on, I'll make the switch to premium since I'll be gulping gas and might as well toss some more $$ out the window!
