ak,
I don't get any rubbing. The tires are actually 34.5", but everybody just says 35's for the LT315's. I've been off the beaten trail a few times and still have not had an instance of rubbing. I'm sure when rock crawling with the wheels turned at just the right angle I may get a rub here or there.
The 1.5" will probably give you close to 2" actual. Most tire places will put a drivers side front on for you to check out (fit check). That way you can see if there will be issues or not. At least that is what they did for me.

When your lift is that high, you won't have to worry about door dings anymore, even if an Excursion is parked next to you!

the truck looks awsome, don't get me wrong i love the way it looks, but im not a big fan of body lifts-raise your center of gravity to much, have seen too many rollovers as a result, for shows though its bad a$$ i love the truck just not for me to off road with cause i tend to get a little crazy
