Speaker?

Has anyone replaced their rear speakers on a 04 Screw? Do you know the mounting depth, or if you can make a 6x9 fit?

Thanks for the help, but I still need the mounting depth for the rear doors.

I had a similar situation with my '04 SCAB. I thought I was ordering 6"x8"s but I wasn't paying attention and got the 6"x9". Everything looked like it would be fine if I cut the door until I realized that the window would come down on the magnet/voice coil. What I ended up doing was spacing the speaker off the face of the metal with some thick rings of flooring material. I was just able to get the trim panel back on over it. I haven't had any problems for quite some time. Your best bet is to pull off the door panel, drop the window and stick a tape measure in there.

Here is some pictures....

Hope that helped.

Thanks for the help. What type of speakers are those? I have to get my door panel off first...that's the fun part....
