Power seat memory issues

Anybody have problems with the memory not staying set? I set mine, but after an hour or two, no preset is "known". (Yes I changed the position to check it)

Thanks

no problems here...are you sure you were NOT driving or moving whern you tested this? The memory will only readjust when you are motionless.

Also, a memory preset can be 'locked' to a particular remote. When I first got my truck, apparently the remote I was using was 'locked' to memory #2. So every time I unlocked the doors the seat/mirrors/pedals would return to #2. It was driving me nuts until I figured it out and changed the remote lock to #1.

Yup, the memory function only works when the truck is in neutral or park. However, the power pedals can be adjusted blowing down the highway at 80MPH. Nice. Another rocket scientist move there. I'm just waiting for the lawsuits. It's inevitable someone will be in drive and adjust the pedals, then whamm right into someone!!!

Now if Ford would fix that and get their system to remember other things. I was a little PO'd when a I found out a friend's Envoy remembers not only the seat position, like ours but it also offers the option to move the seat all the way back for ease of entry/exit. It also remembers the mirror postion, the radio station AND the temperature setting for TWO drivers. Seems Ford is running a 468 processor vs. GM using a P4. What's the deal Ford??? Get with it!!!
