Trying to pop out a dent by removing door panel.
I have a door ding on the drivers side door. I think I could push it out if I could get the door panel off. I have removed the two screws at the bottom, the two screws behind the plastic door, and the one under the window/lock control pad. It still doesn't seem to want to lift off. Is there something else I'm missing? Thanks

I had a golf ball hit my truck on the second day I owned it. I took it to a paintless dent repair shop down the street from me last night. He told me it was no problem and would be $50. So he brings it back out and tells me that it was in a difficult spot behind a bracket in the door. The dent is now a bunch of small dents that stick out instead of one that is pushed in. He told me it was just too tough a spot and charged me $40 instead.
Now I am going to have to take it to a body shop to get it fixed right... I should have done it that way to begin with.
Paint less dent repair is like McDonald’s boneless rib; not the real thing, but sometimes it satisfies.

The McRib is AWESOME. I was taking a road trip with my wife from Dallas to Atlanta last winter. A McDonald's in Alabama had a promotional running of the sandwich. It was closed when we went through, but on the way home, I stopped and bought four sandwiches!!! The last one was kinda nasty....
Perhaps moderation would have been a better plan. lol
I don't understand why they make my wife so sick. She says they are mystery meat???? What??? Looks like ribs... sorta, tastes like ribs.... sorta.... close enough for me
I know it is a crap shoot to use these places, but I would have rather been told he couldn't do it, rather than him trying and not fixing it the way he said he could.

I used Mobile Works for paint-less dent removal in Houston. The guy did a fantastic job on a nice size ding. I was worried going in, but I found this guy was a member of the Better Business Bureau. If they are a member of the BBB, you can check their history of compliants. Definitly a plus in my mind.
Guess it can be hit and miss....an engineer bought a new 04 Expy here at work, first day he brings it in he hits a piece of steel in the middle of the road (the large wire rod used to hold the mud flaps on a big rigs trailer) flipped it into his read door, he called one of those dent places, they didn't do a good job either (my assigned parking spot is right next to his so i see it everyday), and to make matters worse he tried to touch it up with the ford supplied touch up paint, now it looks even worse.
To remove the door panel you must also remove the speaker, and the bottom 2 plastic mounts that the speaker sits on. then the panel will lift up and off. At that point you must unclip the door release handle and thread it through the panel. But that will become obvious when you get the panel up.
If you have the audiophile there may or may not be an additional tweeter speaker connection.
