How can I tell if I have the 6 disc in dash CD player? How do you load it? My Cd player looks just like the one in the catalog that says 6 disc in dash. I just got the truck and still dont have all the stuff figured out.

 

When you load a CD does it ask you what slot do you want to place the CD in? If it doesn't, then you don't have a 6cd in dash.

 

press the "LOAD" button on the left side of the cd slot.
It will ask you which disc you want to load. Hit one of the preset #'s (1-6).
When you have a CD in the chamber, that number will show up on the head unit, next to where it shows "am" or "fm" for your stereo.

The Owner's Manual has very good operation instructions as well as clear drawings of the various CD players. Not to be an a$$ but Reading The Ford Manual (RTFM) will help tremendously.

 

I read the manual. Thanks. The single CD and 6 in dash look almost identicle except for the load button. Mine is unfortunately a single thanks.
