yep, stock 20.25" from center of axle to fenderwell, with 2" spacer
23.4", with 1 5/8" spacer its 22.5". with the smaller 1 5/8" spacer the ride is identical to stock or better!

I can’t notice any difference how it sits from the 2” to the 1½” spacers in your gallery pics, they both look good. I’m sure you can tell a difference up close though. So, the 1½’ spacers stopped the interference with the upper control arm, that’s good. Do the 4x4’s have a different upper control arm setup, because I read a post, and saw pics of a truck that had the 2½’ Auto Spring spacers installed, with no mention of the control arm hitting the coil. You would think if 2” spacers caused contact between the control arm and the coil, 2½” would really be a problem.

I am suppose to get a set of 1½” Auto Spring spacers delivered 6-21-04. I ordered them 6-9-04. I guess they’re shipping them slow boat because that seems like a long time in my opinion. Should have them installed and the front end aligned in a day or so after I get them. I’ll post pics!

well it's fabricated from 1/4" steel. pretty sturdy and it's not visible when installed. could be worse, it could be plastic, of course there is the pricey billet aluminum spacers but they go in the springpack not on top.
The shop that did the lift said I did not need an alignment... but I took it to the alignment shop anyway. According to the sheet they gave me it really didn't need an alignment. I think they charged me $45 just to check it. Darn Les Schwab.
Installation is complete and the front end was laser aligned. The 1½” lift kit, which actually measures 1 5/8”, raised the front end exactly 2¼”. Both the left and right tires were toed-in .06, everything else fell within the factory specs.
Before the kit, the front measured 34 ½” from the ground to the bottom of the wheel well and the rear was 37 ½”. Now with the kit installed the front measures 36 ¾” and the rear measures 37 ½”. The 1½” kit gave me 2 ¼” lift, perfect! It definitely looks noticeably better than before. As far as I can tell, the soft ride hasn’t changed either. The 2¼” difference in height seems to give you a different perception driving the truck. I like it.

One thing I'd like to ask you is if you've experienced any problems as stated below. This snippet is from another thread. Thanks.

I was wondering the same thing JPdadeo, when I look at the 4x2 compared to 4x4 stock the 4x4 already has the upper control arm at more of an angle, about 1- 1.5" lower, so I dont know how they get away with the 2.5" spacer. The 2' caused serious problems on mine just going slowly over speed bumps. I noticed the same thing from the pictures, the difference is hardly noticable, but with a tapemeasure there's 3/4" difference.

Yes, with the 2.5" autospring, the knuckle does bump the coil spring, only on full extension. Whenever I hit a large bump, it does hit the spring, but it isn't anything bad. I know some people will tell me it isn't safe to run it like that, but having friends that know suspensions well, and are studying automotive for a career, they both told me that it won't be that big of a deal, just a "rough" ride. My vehicle before my 04 was a 1976 Jeep CJ7, NOTHING will EVER ride as rough as a 76 CJ with 8 inches of lift and 36" tires. To me, my truck still rides like a dream.
