I worked for a company that is a Ford Partner, so I qualified for the X plan, when I asked if I could use one of my yearly allowances for my Dad,, the answer was nope... only for employee and spouse.

That may be the policy, but...........I purchased my truck using an X-plan PIN # that I obtained from some guy who I barely knew. My dealer accepted it - no questions asked. I ended up paying $59 below invoice ( before the $1300 of incentives) back in November of '03. Not a bad deal at the time. Of course, much better deals are out there now.

 

x plan is for friends and family. I have been giving my salesman numbers for the past couple years...To people I don't know.

 

All together, I saved like $5,000.00, but I was upside down on my trade, so it washed.

I got my truck for $15,500.00 with 1.9%.

I think I'm lovin Tyler Ford.

 

Fugetabout the X-Plan, you can do better...

Don't even consider dealerships in your local area... find a few dealerships next door to any of the F-150 mfg. plants, pin-em against each other.....I'm sure you'll find a great deal......
