Brakes sqwealing

My XLT SCab recently developed a sqwealing noise in the front when getting on the brakes lightly. When I was checking it out,I noticed the front rotors are already developing grooves in them.Only 7500 miles on the truck.
Then I looked at my buddy's FX4 with 7000 miles, and it's doing the same thing without the sqwealing noise.
Anyone else having this problem?

I'm in the same boat. XLT Scab with about 8300 kms and squeaky front brakes. It gets quite annoying when you pull up to a stop-light with a 72' Chevy and your brakes are the ones squeeling.

Get that bugger back to the dealer and lean on them. There must be a hard spot on the pad causing the grooving. In recent years the manufacturers have combined harder pads with softer rotors. It's a result of having to dump asbestos in the linings and pads. It's a bunch of cr--!

Ed, Fifty one years of Fords in my past and an '04 Lariat Scab in my happy present.
