Tilt wheel lever coming off ?

I use my tilt wheel every time I get in or out of my truck and I have had my tilt lever come off in my hand once and now about every 3 days when I drop the wheel down, I have to pull the lever toward the drivers seat to keep it tight. It is just a slip fit but I might put a set screw in it to stop this from happening. Has anybody else noticed this?

I have had no problems with the tilt lever so far. I use it once or twice a day. Good luck hope you get it fixed. Are they (dealership) not taking care of it under warranty?

The '04 steering wheel tilt system is the pits! If Ford does nothing else to the '05, I hope they correct this and return to the previous system. I prefer to change the wheel position upon exiting and entering the vehicle. The current system discourages that and has forced me to leave the wheel in one position and change my entry/exit procedure...I HATE it!
