TONKA concept now Production Amarillo LE

This is a little off topic but I didn't think that the TONKA concept truck would ever see production, even if it is just a limited edition.

They are not making the Tonka, just a package for the 250/350 desiels that paints 'em yella and has some other bells & things... kinda like a "King Ranch" package!

They'll never make the tonka..

the tonka has too many major differences from the standard super duty truck. from the looks they would have to completely rebuild the truck, or have a completely seperate plant just to build this special edition. not gonna happen. it would cost ford more than they would make to build a new plant just to produce a few trucks.

looks like the super duties are being revamped for 05 so it might not be too hard for them to make a tonka version.
