Underestimated the power - a close call

I just pulled out of the car wash today and I am getting ready to make a right turn onto a busy street with 3 lanes of traffic and the speed limit is 45 mph.......just as I start to accelerate, some guy darts out of his far left lane and is heading my way...fast. To avoid getting side-swiped I step on it (evidently just a little tooooo much)....much to my surprise I started spinning the tires and fish tailing! Right about now the pucker factor goes up quite quick because like I said this is a very busy street with 3 lanes of traffic. Don't ask me how I fish tailed and managed to get her under control without hitting anyone or anything. Anyway, after I straightened her out I couldn't help but laugh out loud and have a sh*t eating grin on my face!

It's also fun to hold the brakes in and giv'er some gas. Smoke for days. LS = both tires spinning. People think I am nuts. I think so too.

It probably fries them! I don't normally do it for more than 4 or 5 seconds, and have only done it 6 or 7 times. It's fun to pull up next to a Chebby at a red light and do it.

I would imagine after some time it would blue the rotors. I am sure the Lightning guys could tell you to a -T- what is does to them.
