passenger seatbelt chime disable

I've disabled the driver's seatbelt chime, but the passenger chime still comes on.

Is there a way to disable the passenger chime or do I have to find the buzzer and cut it?

and please...PLEASE do not give me the "yes, have your passenger put his/her seatbelt on"

I followed the same procedure for the passenger and it worked fine. It did however take me several tries. I think in the end I found the driver door had to be shut and noone sitting in the driver seat either. Plus passenger door shut with me in the passenger seat.

Good luck,
Adam

really? weird. I did my driver side with me sitting in the driver seat. I didn't even think to do the same procedure for the passenger side....on my old Ranger the procedure disabled both.

thanks.

Passenger side selt chime?

I put on my seatbelt, and it doesn't chime.

What happens if you dont havea passenger? Does it just continue to chime?

There is a procedure that involves a sequence of unbuckling and then buckling the seatbelt a few times to disable the seatbelt warning chime. Its listed in the owners manual.

No, it has a sensor in the seat so it knows if anyone is sitting there or not. (It also disables the passenger airbag if no one is sitting there.)

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME??????

That is so awesome......I had no idea.

I am the only knucklehead in my truck most of the time, so, I have yet to experience that.
