Changing Lock Code

I followed the instructions to change the keypad code on my truck from the factory settings to something else. I didn't realize it could only be changed once. Does anyone know how to change the code a second time? I'd check my manual, but it's at my dad's place right now. (He swiped it to do some reading, he's also thinking of grabbing a new F150)

Thanks

Droog,

You'll need the original factory code.

From page 93 of the Owner's Guide:
To create your own personal entry code:
1. Enter the factory set code (keypad will illuminate when pressed).
2. Within five seconds press the 1-2 on the keypad.
3. Enter your personal 5-digit code. Each number must be entered within five seconds of each other.
4. After the code is entered, the locks will cycle, confirming that the new code has been set.

Tips:
  • Do not set a code that uses five of the same number.
  • Do not use five numbers in sequential order.
  • The factory code will work even if you have set your own personal code.
  • If you set a second personal code it will erase your first personal code.

I hope this helps,
John
