my current method is to back up slowly until the truck stops.

it's funny you should say that. Today i'm backing into a parking
spot ( thank God i was doing about 1 mph ? ) when my truck stops, i put it in drive move forward a little , shut down and get out. ( you see i thought i had hit the curb )When i look to the rear of the truck i see A LIGHT POLE.... i look down and notice the space between the pole and my bumper is shorter that the space between my tire and the curb and i realize by dumba$$ just backed into the pole duuhhhh duduuhhhhh,,,,, I had luck on my side, ' cuz somehow there's no damage or marks, but i now know why that old timer across from me was staring...

p.s. put some fog lights behind the grille and the switch can go in place of the lame coin holder... mine got used for about 100 ft. the rattle was immediately removed...

Coin slot no more!

I used mine to mount my Garmin iQue. Popped off the coin tray part, did a little grinding and a little drilling, and I'm all set.
