Any mention of Siris (sp?) radio option or side airbags?

Nothing mentioned of Sirus radio. It does say the 6 disc is MP3 capable. I wouldn't be suprised if the radio is also Sirus compatible as it would make sense to have the same radio as the other vehicles (Explorer, etc).

As to side air bags, nothing. I wouldn't get too worried about them dispite what our media says. Side air bags are a way to make a vehicle that underperforms work. If the truck is built correctly it won't need them. I'm betting that when the NHTSA tests it'll prove this. Do some looking and you'll find cars with side bags that don't score as well as competitors without side bags.

I can't imagine driving one of these trucks with a 4.2L V6. The 6 disc changer being MP3 compatible is a big plus, I'm going to go after market for an MP3 compatible system but I would have taken it from the factory if it was availible.

Thanks very much indeed for that information.

Very useful and informative.

I especially appreciate the information about the King Ranch and hope you don't mind me having put a link to this info over on the KR forum.

Repeating what I said there, I would be really grateful if someone is at some stage able to post a representation of what the colors 'Copper' and 'Stone' look like.

I hope to place an order with my dealer ASAP for delivery when we get back to the States in September .

I am so pleased with my Lariat 4x4 in Arizona Beige though, but that castano leather is a real winner., and apart from the vast overall improvements in the new model I do miss the leather in my '01 KR.

The 'leather' in the Lariat doesn't hold a candle to the 'real' stuff !!

Talking

I think it's a misprint.

I'm sure they didn't mean 'one' 4.2L V6 for this boat.

The KR calls out "power Folding Mirrors", but they didn't call that out as an enhancement. It's gotta be standard with the power mirror group....

IzInBloom,

Now that the 2005 order guides are out, can you tell us what the "big" change is for the 2005's that you made references to previously?

Thanks,
John

Did anyone notice on the guide towards the bottom it listed the engine options and tranny options but said "TBD" in regards to horse power and torque numbers. I wonder if Ford has something in store for us or they've just teasing?

Did anyone also notice that not only are we not getting the 6.5' bed option that was rumored for the F-150 SuperCrew; but we are also not getting the 5-speed auto that is going to paired with the 5.4L 3V motor in the 2005 SuperDuty.
