K & N

Is there a K & N air filter available for this truck yet? And if so, is it recommended by anyone on this forum? Does it help?

If your talking about the drop in replacement for your existing filter, i put one in my previous truck, absolutly no performance difference, the only benefit is you don't have to replace it, just clean and re-oil it (K&N calls it a "recharge kit") at about 50k miles.

STX=4.6 engine. No K&N available yet for the 5.4 3v engine.

Check Troyer Performance. They have a drop in from AFE available for the 04 5.4 3V. Suppose to be better than K&N but who knows - they all look the same to me except for the tent each manufacture puts in their oil.
