Detroit Area - Daystar Installation

Looking for someone in the Detroit Metro area that has had the Daystar kit put on their truck. Just want to get feedback like...who did your work, how much they charged and were you happy with what they did. The shops I have talked to either aren't familiar with the Daystar or they want $350+ for the job. Thanks.

I live in cal but I had the skyjack 2.5 put on my truck. its the pretty much the same thing as the daystar. cost was about 90 bucks and I had it put in for about 150. so I hope that 350 is the kit plus installation.

The $350 was for labor only. That's why I am trying to find someone in the area that has already had it done, chances are they got it cheaper. I am also trying to avoid going to a "fly-by-night" shop. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem paying for good, quality work but, I don't want to get ripped off either.

I had a Bell Tech 2/4 lowering kit put on my 2000 f150 at the Midas shop on Van Dyke south of 23 Mile. Charged me around $300 for the whole thing. Go there and talk to Joe. Tell him what you want done and see what he says. It shouldn't cost much. Isn't it just some kind of a spacer put in on the coil?

RWN,
Thanks for the info and yes, it's just a couple of spacers. Were you satisfied with their customer service and the quality of their work?

Daystar

I am planning on having the daystar installed on my 2004 F150 Supercrew 4x4 next week. 4wheel parts quoted me $100.00 for the kit and 120.00 installation and 120.00 for an alignment. I am going to see about getting them to drop the install and alignment charges...
