Between last night and this morning I have come across two new noises. Nothing major, just something I heard when I turned the radio down.

First noise: I was stopped at a red light with my blinker on, and coming from the steering column area was what sounded like a low intermitent buzzing sound. No pattern to the sound, just a long buzzz, then a short one, then a medium one... I turned off the blinker, but it was still there. Then I took my foot off the brake and started going and I couldn't hear it anymore.

Second noise: My accelerator squeaks when I first press down on it. Haven't had a chance to fully examine yet.

 

Mine makes something like your describing on the first noise. You have to have the fan turned down or off and the stereo all the way down to hear it. I usualy only notice it when stopped because it is so quiet. Sounds like a relay or something simillar making a weird high pitch buzz. Never noticed it with the stock stereo because it was always on and making noise. Once i put in the big system, I would have to leave the volume low to get away from my house and would notice it.

The second noise sounds like your accelerator needs a lube job.

 

It could have been making this noise all along, and I've just never heard it because the radio is ALWAYS on. But I don't recall it. I don't like turning the radio off because then every little noise I hear, I'm like, "What's that noise? Is that supposed to make that sound?"
