Really cool new steering wheels!

Check out this website. These would look great in our trucks, but for now, I'm going to have to stick with the cheap cover because these are a little pricey.

BigSherm- first of all, I think I've told you this before, but that photo you have of your truck that shows on your posts, looks like it should be in a Ford F-150 brochure. Well done. Now on to the topic. What is your gripe with our steering wheels? Personally I think they look pretty darn good. That being said, the ones on the site you included look VERY CLASSY. Just curious.

Thanks wedgewood. I love our steering wheels too. I only got a cover for mine because I didn't want the leather on the wheel to get dirty because I figured it would be very diffucult to replace. After I got my cover, I found out that it makes parking a little easier (I know that sounds stupid) becasue the fake wood is a little tackier than the soft leather and offers more grip when steering with one hand. I thought these looked really good and I wouldn't have to worry about the wood parts getting dirty.

Techbargains, good call on the controls, I didn't even notice.

hi guys,

I have a 2001 screw, I put a cover on my wheel when i got the truck, i have now taken it off and noticed that the cover itself has worn the wheel....and where little grits of sand or other crap got into the cover it abraded the leather. I suggest removing the cover every now and then.

Those photos (I would hope) are for display purposes only. I would imagine they have the correct wheel with all the controls if you inquire about it.

Your right that is the FX4 steering wheel. I like the steering wheel on this thread but for that price I would rather put the dollars in some performance parts for my truck.
