Raise front or Drop rear with 22's? Opinions please!
I have a white 2004 F150 2wd. I just ordered a set of 22's (Ultra Type 139 Peacemaker) with 305-40-22 with either Toyo Proxes or Pirrelli Scorpions depending on availability. I also bought a 2.5" Autospring Corp front lift kit to level my truck. The tire shop is encouraging me to lower the rear 2" instead. I don't have a clue which would look better. Anyone have opinions or better yet pics they can show me. Also, anybody have any experience with rubbing with this size of a tire at the stock ride height?
Thanks,
Chuck

Lower the rear for sure man. If you raise it in the front it will look silly on those street tires man. Off road tires....maybe.
By lowering the rear it levels out the truck and hugs the fender wells which it when those wheels look best.

It appears it's unanimous that lowering the rear to compliment the 22's I'm installing is the consensus. The only thing that is swaying me is a couple of trucks owned by friends are raised, rolling with 22's and looks good.. One is a 2003 Chevy 4x4 with 22's and the other is a Dodge 4x4 with the stock 20's that come with the Dodge. Both trucks have a lot of wheel clearance showing and doesn't look that bad. I'm not raising the rear so it's not that drastic of a change from stock ride height. Hmmmm, still thinking about it.
