Pics requested for 40-20-40 front seats

Hi, I've been to several dealers in my area and all their FX4 or Lariat Supercrews have the captain buckets for their front. I was wondering if anyone ordered the 40-20-40 seats.

I'm particulary interested in the armrest component and console features, as well as the placement of the shifter. I drive a long distance each day and need somewhere to store all my CDs.

If you can't post the pics, please just type the link and I'll go through your gallery on my own.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I have a few shots of that seat in my gallery. I wanted the column shifter and I'm glad I got it. The extra room on the floor is great...perfect for my cooler or other things, plus the extra seat space is great. Looks great too:

Thanks for the photos. The options on your ride are pretty similar to what I was hoping to tick off on the options checklist.

Don't the Toronto Ford dealers have supplies of the 45 page Ford brochure that has photos of all the seat and console combinations?

I'm not sure; I only have the 2004 Ford F-150 brochure with the Blue Lariat Supercrew photo on the front. Should I ask for it?

If you have Ford's 45 page 11'' X 11" brochure with the Black (there's no True Blue Lariat) over Arizona Beige Lariat Screw on the cover, it has the console/seat photos you inquired about.

Not bad at all! I think I can live with that console. It seems thick and well-padded enough.

It may look that way, but I wouldn't say it is cushiony. It has about as much padding as the steering wheel. The top of it that lifts up is actually the same color/texture as the interior. The forward part that houses the cupholders is different. Since there are no armrests on my seats, I use the '20' part. On long road trips, it's not so comfortable.

Thanks for the latest pic. I'm a person who needs a whole lot of space for psychological comfort. The captain's chairs are really nice, and the shifter is cool and all, but doesn't it get cold in the winter time?

Anyway, I e-mailed my local dealer as well, so when they get that particular 6 person set-up, I can go and check for myself.
