Just curious
Just curious
Now that alot of people are lifting their trucks and putting on larger tires 33", 34" and 35" I am curious as to why I haven't read alot about changing gearing?
Correct me if I am wrong but running 35" tires on 3.55 or 3.73 gears has to really affect the performance of the truck. I love my truck but I do have to admit I lacks a bit when it comes to acceleration, especially off the line, and running 35's with stock gears could only make it worse.
The trade off doesn't seem worth it to me. I am planning on lifting my truck as well in order to run larger tires, but not till I can also afford to change the gears. Having to wait is probably going to kill me but I don't want to do it until I can do it right. I don't mean to offend anyone but that's just my opinion.
